If you plan on creating a website for your big day, then a wedding website FAQ page is an absolute MUST!!
The main purpose of a wedding website is to hold additional information that couldn’t initially fit on your wedding invitation.
The additional information on your wedding website is meant to answer any questions that your guests might have about your wedding day. Which is why it is important to have a frequently asked questions page on your website.
Also, by having the most important questions already answered on your wedding website, it will save you a lot of time by not having to continuously answer repeated questions from your guests.
Here is a list of 15 important questions to include on your wedding website FAQ page that your guests will most likely ask or want answers to regarding your big day.

Wedding Website FAQ
What is the timeline for the wedding day?
On your wedding website FAQ page, you want to include what the timeline of your wedding day is going to look like.
It does not need to be super specific.
Just make sure to include the start time of your wedding ceremony, how long the wedding ceremony is supposed to last, the start time of your wedding reception, how long the wedding reception is supposed to last, and the reception end time.
You also want to note where your wedding ceremony and reception will be located.
Is there a dress code? And if so what should I wear?
Is there a dress code or what should I wear to the wedding are the two most common questions you are probably going to be asked about your wedding day.
If you are planning to have a more formal wedding day, then tell your guests on your wedding website FAQ page that you would prefer your guests to dress in either black tie or white tie.
However, if you are looking to have a more casual wedding day, then tell your guests to dress semi formal, casual, or their Sunday best.
Can I bring kids to the wedding?
You want to make sure to include on your wedding website FAQ page whether or not you are allowing kids to come to your wedding.
Can I bring a plus 1 to the wedding?
You also want to make sure to note on your wedding website whether or not you are allowing your wedding guests to bring plus ones to your wedding.
If you are trying to save a little money the best way to do so is by limiting the number of guests you have come to your wedding.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Make sure to let your guests know when your RSVP deadline is.
And be prepared for people to RSVP after the deadline anyway.
Who do I send my RSVP to?
You also want to include a phone number or address for your wedding guests to send their RSVP cards.
However, the great thing about wedding websites is that you can get your guests to RSVP online.
This is easy and convenient for your guests since they will already be on your website looking at information and questions regarding your wedding day.
It is also super easy for you to track who all has already RSVP when it is done through your website.
Will your wedding ceremony and reception be indoor or outdoor?
Make sure to let your guests know whether your wedding ceremony and reception will be held indoors or outdoor.
This will help your wedding guests to better plan their outfits for your wedding day.
For example, if your wedding is during the colder months and you plan to have it outside, let your guests know that ahead of time so they can plan to buy either a warmer dress or bring a jacket with them on your wedding day in case it is windy out.
Where should we park at the wedding venue?
If you are having your wedding at a pretty large venue or it is in a location that might confuse your guests on where they are supposed to go, then it is always a good idea to include directions on how to find your wedding venue or where your guests are actually supposed to park.
It is also a good idea on telling your guests which building the wedding ceremony will be held in, especially if there are multiple buildings on the property.
Can I take photos during the wedding?
Another great question to include on your wedding website FAQ page is whether or not you are having an unplugged wedding.
If you are not okay with your wedding guests taking photos during your wedding ceremony or wedding reception, then make sure to let them know that on your website.
I would also recommend having someone on your wedding day announce to your guests right before your wedding starts that it is an unplugged wedding in case they forget or didn’t see it on your wedding website.
Can I post any photos taken during the wedding ceremony or reception on social media?
If you are okay with your guests taking photos at your wedding, make sure to let them know whether or not you are okay with them immediately posting it to their social media.
What if I have a dietary restriction that limits me from eating certain foods?
Make sure to let your wedding guests know who they should contact about any dietary restrictions or food allergies that they might have because you definitely don’t want any of your guests having an allergic reaction to a specific food on your wedding day.
Is the wedding ceremony and reception wheelchair accessible?
If you have anyone in your family or any of your wedding guests use a wheelchair, then you might want to note on your website whether or not your wedding ceremony and reception are wheelchair accessible.
What will the weather be like around your wedding date?
You want to make a note on your FAQ page about what season you plan on getting married in and what the weather is usually like around that time of year.
This is especially important if you are having guests from out of town and if you are having your wedding in a location that most of your wedding guests aren’t familiar with.
Where is the wedding couple registered?
If you have set up a wedding registry with Amazon or Target, then make sure to include this question on your wedding website.
You also want to include a link to your actual wedding registry (whether it is located on Target or Amazon’s website) so that your guests can easily find and access it.

Make sure that the last question you have listed on your wedding website’s frequently asked questions page answers what your guests should do if they still have unanswered questions.
You want to include your or your fiance’s contact info so that your wedding guests know exactly who they should contact regarding any additional questions or concerns.
